the mind may forget but the heart will always remember.
the fact that Alaina can't remember everything add reality to the story, it was sad yet perfect because they can always make memories together. it's like hearing from an old friend and it made me miss the characters of KS more. The book was perfect! it's simple and beautiful. it could have been faster if i was just sitting down but heck! it's hard to read in a moving bus or a moving van. Less the disturbance, i think i've read the entire book in as nearly as ten hours or less. but i had to because i was sleepy and that i had to go to work. I've read it on the days that followed and was excited and happy. but when i looked down i saw the familiar green book but had my doubts because it was thick! When i saw the flower design i immediately picked it up and was glad, shocked and excited! it was a thick book and was a little over my budget but i bought it anyway! (so much for saving!) i thought to myself that maybe it was only out on the online store of MC. When my friend told me that the book was already out i immediately went to the four-storey store of NBS in Cubao but i did not find it in the shelves so i went to Farmer's Plaza, in a pocketbook store in the basement but was disappointed when i didn't find it in the display shelf. (heck! i was planning to make my own just to satisfy my sadness) So i became one of those people who persuaded MC to write another story for Nick and Alaina, because i believe that she wasn't really dead, just missing.Īnd when MC finally adhered to that call, i was glad that i really did not care what the story would be like. Alvaro lost Kristine, which made me sad and crying for a night after reading James' story, and now Nick had lost Alaina, too! It is unfair.
I thought it was unfair that most of the Navarro men had sad stories. I loved the fact that Zandro fell in love with Jenny and that he claimed the respect that he was wanting all along and that Nick, despite the sad things that happened, has found Alaina.īut i was shocked when i read Drew's story and found out that Alaina went missing. I've been so engrossed with her Kristine Series and have come to love the characters specially Nick Gascon-Navarro and Zandro Fortalejo (the two bastards). Anika_mayarifor the past years i've been a fan of Martha Cecilia's books, since i've read Midnight Phantom.
